Apple vice-president of industrial design Jonathan Ive has once again been named as one of the most influential British expatriates, this time by The Sunday Times.

Ive is number three of the publication's 25-strong list of successful emigree's who have made a go of life in the US.

"Ive may not be the richest or the most senior figure on the list, but he has certainly been one of the most influential," the report says, adding: "The man who designed the iPod and many more of Apple's most iconic products has shaken up both the music and the electronics industry."

Others on the list include: American International CEO Martin Sullivan; Sony CEO Howard Stringer; Bear Sterns co-head Jeffrey Urwin; EMI North America CEO David Munns; and many leaders from the media, banking and movie industries.
