Japan’s love affair with Apple is stronger than ever, with the Mac continuing to outsell its competitors in the Japanese market place.
The Tangerine iBook occupies pole position in the notebook charts, reflecting its new availability. Previous leader, the blueberry iBook falls to second place, with the PowerBook G3 holding eighth position.
In the desktop market, Apple occupies six of the top ten desktop sales chart positions. The entry-level Blueberry machine tops the list, followed by the Special Edition iMac DV, with the five-colour iMac DV range filling the remaining slots.
Apple’s share of the desktop and laptop markets was 27.8 per cent for the week ending November 14.
