Steve Jobs has performed consistently well in Forbes CEO Approval Ratings since the CEO Approval tracker began in February.
Each month Jobs has topped the list of the five technology CEOs, ranked against Cisco's John Chambers, Oracle's Larry Ellison, HP's Carly Fiorina, and Microsoft's Steve Ballmer.
October saw Jobs receive the vote of 92 per cent of readers – the most votes received by any of the 55 CEOs from the 11 sectors featured in the CEO Approval Tracker. Other sectors include: Infoimaging headed up by Adobe's Bruce Chizen, Internet lead by Yahoo, and Telecom with Nextel in first place.
In November Jobs received the vote of 90 per cent of Forbes readers – which is still higher that any other CEO in the tracker. In second place in the technology section was Cisco's Chambers with 72 per cent. Jobs worst performance was in April when he received the votes of 75 per cent of readers.
In each month readers can vote for every CEO they feel is performing satisfactorily. Forbes is currently collecting votes for December.
