Apple paid CEO Steve Jobs $84,000 for the use of his Gulfstream V jet in Apple-related business during its last financial quarter.
Jobs was given the jet as a special "thank-you" by the company two years ago. Since then, Apple has paid Jobs $1.16 million in charges related to the use of that jet.
The jet has been used to transport Apple staff and executives to a variety of trade shows and special events worldwide. The company saves money on per head transportation with this deal, it claims.
Jobs takes home just one dollar per year from Apple, but does have a substantial collection of stock options and benefits from the company's health insurance scheme.
