Apple CEO Steve Jobs has won praise once again – for his services to the communications, not computing industry.
Scientific American said Jobs "Started an online music service that serves as a model for the rest of the record industry." Jobs takes his place among the publication's annual list of 50 leading lights drawn from across a diverse range of industries.
The publication describes the awards as: "Recognizing the singular accomplishments of those who have contributed to the advancement of technology in the realms of science, engineering, commerce and public policy."
