Creative Review readers have voted Apple’s VP industrial design Jonathan Ive top of the magazine's Peer Poll for 2003.
In a survey among its readership in May, the magazine asked: "Which single person or team do you admire most in the creative industries?"
Ive won the vote ahead of last year’s winner Peter Saville of Factory Records fame. In the September issue of Creative Review (on sale now) the reluctant Ive is interviewed by designer Malcolm Garrett. Garrett claims to be one of the first designers to fully appreciate Macs as design tools, using them for 20 years.
Other winners include: Nike (best brand), Mother (advertising agency), Pentagram (design consultancy) and Peter Saville (best graphic designer).
