Photographs of what is claimed to be a leaked 13in MacBook Pro with Retina Display have surfaced on the web, showing that the smaller model has few changes from the current 15in Retina MacBook Pro.

The photos, which were posted on Chinese blog WeiPhone, show some of the device's inner components, as well as a close look at the ports including an SD card slot, HDMI out port, and two Thunderbolt connectors like the larger model.

New reports also suggest that Apple's new MacBook Pro's pricing could start at $1,699, which is $500 more than the basic non-Retina MacBook Pro, but $500 less than the starting 15in Retina MacBook Pro. There's no word about how this pricing might translate to the UK yet, though.

Apple could announce a 13in Retina display MacBook Pro at its special event tomorrow. The tagline 'We've got a little more to show you' that came with Apple's official invitation likely hints at an iPad mini, but could also point towards a smaller model of its newest MacBook Pro.

Also expected to put in an appearance at the event on Tuesday is a new iMac lineup, and perhaps a launch date for the brand new iTunes 11 that Apple announced alongside the iPhone 5 in September.
