MacLive Expo will return to the Olympia exhibition centre to showcase the latest and freshest Mac and iPod technologies between 25-27 October 2007.
The first two days of the three day event are dedicated to the needs of Mac professionals, with a range of seminars and other events to help attendees get to grips with new technologies.
Show organisers are promising a more personal event this year, offering show-goers the chance to meet luminaries from the creative worlds of design, photography, music and video.
The shows new ‘Hands on Theatre’ will offer delegates a chance to try out software and solutions for themselves. This area will offer hands-on sessions with tips and advice on all the latest techniques for the latest applications.
Sessions covering Adobe CS3, Final Cut Studio and QuarkXPress 7 will be presented by expert users.
The Seminar Theatre will host key debates covering all manner of technology-related matters, from blogging to making music and video.
Tracks and exhibition exploration paths for users interested in design and publishing, digital photography, digital video, digital audio, iLife and entertainment (including iPods) and business solutions will also be at the show.
Exhibitors come from across the wide Mac industry. These include key software and hardware developers, Apple retailers and more. Apple hasn't yet officially confirmed it will take a place at the show, but in previous years it has held a major presence at the UK's home-grown Apple event.
The event takes place at Olympia, Kensington, London from Thursday 25-27 October 2007. Opening hours are 10am - 6pm on the Thursday and Friday and 10am - 5pm on the Saturday.
Admission is free for the first 5,000 pre-registered visitors, otherwise it costs £15.
