Switzerland-based Blue Line Studios is beta testing WebsiteDietician, a Web-content acceleration tool that works by stripping out junk data.
The junk is unnecessary code written by most WYSIWYG HTML-editors. Browsers ignore it, but surfers get clogged up with the excess code.
WebsiteDietician also batch-processes folders, and converts PICT files to JPEGs - with a preview of quality-loss through JPEG compression - as well as optimizing image files.
Blue Line is currently seeking beta-testers. All testers will get a free copy of the final product.
