UK National Lottery operator Camelot is continuing to add Mac compatibility to its Web site in order to boost National Lottery sales online.
Last week, Macworld reported on Camelot's then failure to support the Mac platform in terms of accessing content held on its site.
The company quickly resolved the problem after the report. Macs could access most elements of the site within 48 hours.
However, Mac users still cannot register for the site's services, such as online lottery gambling games.
A Camelot spokesperson told Macworld last night: "Obviously, we want to make our services available to as wide a choice of platforms as possible. Our engineers are working to make this feature work with Macs, and we hope to update the site for this purpose within weeks."
However, the spokesperson was unable too commit to a specific time frame for the task. "We just want to stress Camelot's commitment to broad cross-platform support moving forward," she explained.
