Twelve20, a Mac-based design agency from Birmingham, have teamed up with RGK Wheelchairs to help launch a new Elite wheelchair through a micro-site and interactive game.

RGK Wheelchairs, which have designed the Elite chair specifically for use at the 2012 Paralympic Games, is the official sponsor of the 2012 British Men's, Women's and Junior Wheelchair Basketball teams.

Twelve20 work exclusively on Macs, and claim they could not have created the RGK microsite and interactive game without Apple's technology.

Matt Tullett of Twelve20 said: "We design and develop all our web projects using Macs because the technology is so fast, responsive and reliable, but the major benefit with Apple technology in this project is that we've been able to make the RGK micro-site responsive to different devices."

"That means that we can set the layout to change responsively whether a user views the microsite on their iPad or iPhone, which ultimately lets us create a smooth and interactive user experience across different technology platforms," Tullet continued.

"We tested the site at a responsive level on the iPhone and iPad to ensure the site would function smoothly, and it was only the wealth of Mac tools such as Scout Sass, Cornersone, SVN and Textmate that enabled us to do this."
