Apple has confirmed some problems with its .Mac service in recent days.

Some users had reported problems sending and receiving mail. Symptoms of this included mail returned to sender because a recipient .Mac member's account was full. This has now been fixed, Apple claims on its .Mac members support forum.

"Please note: A small number of customers were having difficulties receiving mail due to database issues. The sender of the email will receive a bounce-back claiming that the destination account is over quota. The issue is now resolved and mail should be delivered as expected," Apple said.
