The Radar Festival has extended its deadline for Mac using moviemakers to enter a competition to win commissions for their projects.

The deadline, which was originally due to expire 31 August, has now been extended to 30 November.

As previously reported, the Radar Festival is a music video festival that is open to filmmakers of all ages. To enter the competition, competitors must make a music video for a track drawn from a shortlist including the likes of Groove Armada and Franz Ferdinand. Entries must be created using Macs and Apple software.

Music partners include Domino Records, Warp Records and Tummy Touch Records. Winning videos will be screened on label websites and at the festival. Festival winners will get commissioning, cash and music prizes and the overall winner gets coveted representation by multi-award-winning production company Colonel Blimp.
