Apple's OS market share remains static, a report claims.
Net Applications has gathered data which claims that the Mac OS has held just 4.35 per cent of the operating system market since December 2005. At the end of August it held 4.33 per cent, the report claims.
The report reveals that one in seven Macs in use today are powered by Intel processors.
Net Applications claims this stasis in OS growth may reflect other problems at Apple.
However, it must be borne in mind that the Net Applications data is based on the company's PC-only web monitoring software which checks for what platform users are on when they visit a small collection of compliant websites.
