Stone Table Software has released Z-Write 1.0.1 for the Mac, its word-processing application.
The developers describe Z-Write as a "non-linear word processor". This means Z-Write allows its users to store unlimited documents in a single file. Notes, sources and even finished stories can be stored together for ease of management on a Mac's hard drive.
The program offers a number of functions, including a variety of personalization tools, electronic bookmarks - to memorize locations in a document - and full drag-&-drop compatibility.
Z-Write 1.0.1 costs $20, a 30 day free preview is available from the developer’s Web site. It requires 10MB of RAM, a Power Mac and System 7.5.
