The OSX86 Project has begun a campaign to convince Apple to address claimed problems affecting MacBook Pros.
Multiple online reports claim the same as some users writing on Apple's support forums: that the new notebooks suffer from high running temperatures and an annoying whining sound when run. Not all MacBook Pros are affected by these issues.
The OSX86 Project describes Apple as seemingly "taking these annoyances very lightly", and is urging affected Mac users to contact Apple technical support on May 20.
The website hopes that if Apple receives a call from all affected users on the same day, it will respond to their complaints. Equally, the campaign offers a good way for the company to learn the full extent of the widely reported problems.
