Extensis has delivered a range of announcements at MacExpo, including several special offers, software updates, and software upgrades.
The company has updated its flagship Portfolio 7 product with new SQL Connect add-on modules that help businesses automate and scale their digital asset management and delivery systems. The new update also introduces support for MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 and an updated filter for digital camera RAW images. Portfolio 7.0.4 also widens the number of digital camera formats supported by the application.
At MacExpo, Extensis is offering a range of special offers and a competition. All the company's plug-ins cost £99 at the show - £50 less than usual, and the Photo Imaging Suite bundle costs just £199 (usual price, £299.95). Plug-ins include SmartScale, MaskPro, Intellihance Pro and Photo Frame.
A daily competition draw offers entrants the chance to win a copy of the Photo Imaging Suite, Softpress' Freeway and one year's premium NetPublishing hosting from Black Knight (itself worth £300).
Suitcase Server X1
Extensis is demonstrating its full range of products at the show, including its recently-released Suitcase Server X1. This product lets administrators control font usage over a workgroup, enabling them to manage and limit font licenses and ensure all workgroup members are using the same version of a font..
