Digital publishing consultant Systems Support is to launch a new specialist company at MacExpo.
Velocity DV will focus on the expanding digital-video and -audio market. The company says the launch is a reaction to the tide of companies choosing to produce digital video and audio content in-house.
Managing director Jeanne Razzell said: "As with the digital publishing revolution, people will need help adapting their existing skills to the new tools available. We have a lot of experience understanding what companies need when taking on new technologies and bringing work in-house previously handled by specialist suppliers."
Technical director Sean Porter added: "Anyone who needs help with the selection of equipment or software for digital editing or production, or who is looking to integrate new equipment into an existing video/audio editing suite, should give us a call."
Velocity DV will provide nationwide sales and service from its offices in Cambridge, Oxford, Northampton and London.
The company will host a champagne reception to celebrate the launch at MacExpo stand 820 on Thursday, November 20. The launch will be marked with the release of 250 balloons – and whoever finds the balloon that travels furthest will win a brand new 17-inch flatscreen TV.
"We hope to spread the news to all corners of the UK, and we wanted to highlight the importance of Velocity," Jeanne Razzell said.
