The shows begin on Friday April 26 at Cambridge’s Crown Plaza Hotel. The next event will take place April 30 at Manchester’s Renaissance Hotel. Finally, MacFest reaches London’s Hammersmith Novotel on May 2.
The events are open between 10am and 6pm daily. Admission is free, but preregistration is encouraged – pre-registered names are entered into a free draw to win a new iMac.
Apple seminars Apple will be holding two seminars as part of the event. One will take a look at Apple’s Digital Video solutions, including Final Cut Pro 3, while the other will showcase Apple’s latest software and hardware products.
Other exhibitors at MacFest include Canon, Formac, Fujifilm, Hewlett Packard, Minolta-QMS, NEC Mitsubishi, Iomega, and Palm.
Garrett Doyle, of International Exhibitions & Conferences, said: “This third series of MacFest roadshows will have at least 30 of the best vendors in the UK Mac market, bringing their latest and greatest products to a series of UK locations.
“This time out, there will be a particular focus on video and audio technology, in addition to the normal range of Mac products.”
MacFest visitors may vote in the new “Best of Fest” awards, recognizing the top exhibitor and the best products on show. The MacFest roadshows are sponsored by Macworld, Cancom, MacUnlimited, and Macworld Extra.
