Both products use Macromedia's User Interface. This interface is also shared with Macromedia Flash 5. Macromedia sources claim 20 per cent of Macromedia's installed base for Flash Player use Flash 5.
The Dreamweaver 4 Fireworks 4 Studio costs £349. Standalone versions of Dreamweaver 4 and Fireworks 4 are individually available for £229 each. Existing customers can upgrade to the Dreamweaver 4 Fireworks 4 Studio for £149. Users upgrading standalone versions of Dreamweaver and Fireworks can upgrade to the latest versions for £99 each.
