The British Library is hosting an interactive exhibition celebrating 100 years of UK newspapers, using 16 Macs.
The exhibition runs until October 2006. It attempts to guide visitors through a typical day in a modern newsroom: story selection, picture editing, meetings and front page design are all covered.
The exhibit focuses on each step in the process. Like the real news environment, each section of the interactive exhibition is set against the clock.
The Macs help attendees explore the steps and try to create better titles. Visitors can print their very own, personalised front page, which can be taken away with them.
