Macworld has announced the first round of nominations for the Macworld Awards, with winners to be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 20 June. The list of nominations is below.

Now in its 18th year, the Macworld Awards is the event in the UK Mac calendar, recognising the products and vendors that make a significant contribution throughout the year.

The winners will be chosen by the Macworld editorial team and Macworld's army of enthusiastic readers. We celebrate the most innovative and successful products and companies in the Mac community for their achievements and contributions to the industry.

PRs! Submit the products you wish to be considered for a nomination!

This year Macworld is accepting product submissions for all categories. For your product to be eligible it must have been launched after/on-sale from 1 August 2012 and it must have been reviewed by Macworld, or be made available for Macworld to review before 1 May 2013.

Be sure to Follow @MacworldAwards on Twitter for up-to-date information.

Has your product received a nomination? Check the list below.

Macworld editors will evaluate the products submitted and create a shortlist of Macworld Award nominees based on reviews of those products. Only the best products will receive a nomination. The Award winners will then be selected from the category shortlists.

You can submit your product here. The final closing date for submissions will be 24 May 2013.

The second round of nominations will be announced on 26 April 2013, and the third round of nominations will be announced on 31 May 2013.
