Advance information regarding next week’s Macworld Conference and Expo in Boston has been made available.

Event organisers IDG World Expo will host the event - which does not feature Apple as an exhibitor - between July 11-14, 2005 at the Hynes Convention Center.

Exhibition highlights include the Apple Specialists Pavilion; a free music festival from Macworld and the Berklee College of Music; and new product announcements from Quark, Xerox, Software Mackiev, Guitar Center, Harman Multimedia and more.

Andy Ihnatko will speak to delegates, who can also enjoy the MacBrainiac Challenge and the Macworld Town Hall.

New York Times columnist and Mac help book author David Pogue will sign books, answer questions and dispense advice, while the “Geeks and Gadgets Stage” explores Mac music production and iPod use. A series of conference sessions focus tightly on Mac OS X 10.4.

Conferences exploring the use of specific applications, including Adobe Creative Suite 2, Macromedia Flash MX 2004, FileMaker Pro, Final Cut Pro and more will also feature at the show.

Finally, the MacIT Conference features sessions in four tracks: Servers and Services, Advanced User Topics, Mac OS X Troubleshooting and Mac OS X Management and Administration.
