Macworld Expo organizer IDG has released details of events at the New York show, being held from July 18-21.
This year, the show will feature the launch of the MacBeginnings introductory sessions. These sessions are aimed at first-time attendees and new Mac owners
In addition, a comprehensive pre-conference programme includes 16 full-day workshops, giving in-depth training on key products and technologies.
These workshops are followed by a series of Macworld/Pro conference seminars for professional users, on five subjects - Macintosh Networking and Communications; Digital Video and Streaming Media; Advanced Tools for Mac professionals; Special Art Directors Day; and The Mac Manager.
There will be ten special interest areas at the show, including the popular Consumer Showcase, and a new Assistive Technology Area.
Rob Scheschareg, vice president for IDG World Expo, says he is expecting a record number of exhibitors and new products to make their debut at the event.
