Active Concepts will be demonstrating the beta version of Funnel Web running on Mac OS X at Macworld Expo next week.
Funnel Web is the flagship product from Active Concepts. It's an award-winning solution for Web-site traffic analysis and business-intelligence gathering. In a recent meeting, Active Concepts revealed that the final version of its OS X-ready product would ship shortly after Apple delivers the final version of it’s next-generation operating system.
Porting applications to Mac OS X (Apple calls it "Carbonizing") promises to be a major flavour at the Expo. Alias|Wavefront and Computer Systems Odessa will also be demonstrating Mac OS X beta versions of Maya and ConceptDraw respectively.
Dantz Development plans to unveil pre-release versions of Retrospect Backup and Retrospect Client for Mac OS X.
Newtek will demonstrate Lightwave 6.5 on OS X. Announcements are expected from major players, including Adobe, Macromedia, Corel and Connectix, but details are scant at this time.
