Macworld US has named the winners of its nineteenth Editor's Choice Awards for 2003.

Also known as the 'Eddy' awards, these are given to the year's top hardware and software products chosen by Macworld US's editorial department. US editors "looked at nearly every new Mac product on the market between November 1, 2002 to November 1, 2003, evaluating their overall quality as well as their utility, innovation, and elegance," the magazine said.

Macworld US editor-in-chief Jason Snell said: "Macworld's editors spend all year evaluating products in the Mac market, and now it's time to honour the very best of that bunch.

"We feel that all 35 of the products we've chosen this year represent the very best that the Mac market has to offer. From huge electronics companies to tiny software developers, this year's winners all have one thing in common – really excellent products for the Mac platform."
