Media 100 faces delisting from the Nasdaq, the company warned last night.
The company develops a number of award-winning solutions for the broadcast and video industry, including Media 100i and Final Effects Complete, both of which are compatible with Mac OS X.
Nasdaq says the company has failed to comply with the minimum $2.5 million stockholder's equity requirement.
Media 100 counters that it is, "in compliance with all other Nasdaq SmallCap Market maintenance criteria and has filed a request for a hearing before the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel to appeal the staff determination. The company's stock will continue to be traded on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market pending a final decision by Nasdaq."
The company will announce its financial results on October 2.
