Apple executives continue to announce plans to sell shares.
Peter Oppenheimer, Apple's senior VP of finance, filed his plans yesterday, MacMinute reports, while Avie Tevanian, Apple's senior VP of software engineering revealed his plans earlier this week.
Oppenheimer plans to sell 152,500 shares, valued at approximately $3.7 million, while Tevanian revealed plans to sell $2.1 million in stock on Wednsday.
Other Apple executives who have filed to sell shares in recent weeks include: Chief financial officer Fred Anderson; Senior VP Nancy Heinen; Executive VP Tim Cook; and board member Sina Tamaddon.
Given recent positive forecasts about Apple by Wall Street's analyst community, Apple's executive team has picked a good time to liquidize some of its hard-won assets.
Apple stock closed at $22.16, down $0.56 (2.46 per cent). Shares continued their fall on the extended trading market, closing at $21.60.
