The summit will be held at the University of California, San Diego, between June 20-21. Its theme will be "The year of the music service provider (MSP)".
The conference will host an MSP partner pavilion, where new Web-based applications and technologies will be on view.
Michael Robertson, MP3.com’s chairman and CEO, said: "No matter where you look you will see an application, technology, product or service that is changing the way the world listens to digital music."
The conference will include hardware and software demos, including a demonstration of Keyspan’s Digital Media Remote. A session called "Pay to Play: Model for monetizing music content from dollar-a-download to subscription" will examine the potential business models that exist for digital-music distribution.
Other tracks will examine marketing artists online, legal action and licensing, and online radio broadcasting.
