Kevin Browne, head of Microsoft's Mac Business Unit (MBU), will leave the department at the end of October for a new position at the company's Xbox division.
Browne has run the Mac Business Unit for three years, and has worked within the unit for six years. The new position offers Browne a chance to pursue his personal interests within the company, Microsoft says.
No one has yet been found to head up the MBU on his departure. MacCentral reports the unit will be run by Tim McDonough (director of marketing), Roz Ho (product unit manager) and Michael Connolly (group program manager).
