Digital music has emerged as the main focus to this year's Boston Macworld Conference and Expo.
The Boston Herald has been wandering through the show and its report suggest that digital music - playing it, creating it, mixing it, and listening to it - has taken centre stage, with multiple manufacturers presenting applications or devices to take a place in Apple's new music ecosystem.
IDG World Expo organises the show, and the Macworld conferences are taking place there already. Conference chairman Paul Kent said: "Music is what's hot - it just keeps growing.''
Apple is not attending the event, but to taste the flavour of the show, Think Secret has assembled an image gallery from the show.
Product news highlights include: the new Harman Kardon Drive + Play system for integrating an iPod into a car; new products from LaCie; SketchUp 5 and the new (version 3) release of alternative productivity application, ThinkFree Office.
