Creo has launched Six Degrees, its desktop data-management tool.
The software automatically links messages, files and people on the desktop. It is an email-driven tool that offers quick navigation through projects.
"Six Degrees means that projects that would normally get out of control will be a thing of the past," said Mark Lemmons, director of Creo's Creative Software Group. "It's the only Mac OS X utility that leverages the context of email for product-management productivity."
Ron Okamoto, Apple's vice president of worldwide developer relations, said: Creo is taking advantage of the Aqua interface and the Unix-based core of OS X to create an incredible tool to increase users' desktop efficiency."
Six degrees costs $99. UK pricing was unavailable at the time of writing. It is available from www.creo.com/sixdegrees.
