FileMaker is sponsoring this year's national meeting of Final Cut Pro User Groups at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show.
The annual national Final Cut Pro Users Groups meeting takes place on Wednesday, April 26, from 6:30-9:30pm at the Rio Hotel & Casino.
FileMaker will demonstrate how FileMaker Pro 8 organises digital assets, integrates with Final Cut Pro and manages entire creative businesses, with a particular focus on video. Demonstrations will include real-world solutions shown by Cris Ippolite, president of FileMaker developer iSolutions, and others from Digital Film Tree, a leading post production firm.
"The ability of FileMaker Pro to do the 'heavy lifting' of storing and managing digital assets in post-production gives Final Cut Pro editors more time to spend on the creative process," said Ryan Rosenberg, vice president, marketing and services, FileMaker.
Production-related implementations of FileMaker Pro 8 that will be demonstrated at the meeting include: sharing footage instantly with web publishing; automatic updating of metadata; storage of large collections of video assets; and business systems.
