Apple CEO Steve Jobs' "other company", Pixar, has broken the record for video sales with its new Disney-published Finding Nemo title.
The DVD has shifted fast: 20 million DVD/VHS units have sold in the first 14 days of the movie’s North American release.
Jobs, who is also CEO of Pixar, said: "Pixar's creative team pours their hearts into creating the industry's best DVDs for our films, so this resounding success is especially gratifying. We're thrilled beyond words."
Walt Disney CEO and chariman Michael Eisner said: "The home entertainment success of films like 'Finding Nemo' proves that the consumer's enjoyment of our properties continues far beyond the theatrical release, and that these enduring films provide a strong, sustained revenue stream for the company."
