Netscape's Communicator 4.75 has been released.
The update fixes security issues (the so-called "Brown Orifice" hole) discovered in the browser last week.
Communicator 4.75 includes Netscape Navigator browser, with Smart Browsing - an integrated mail and news interface, roaming access facilities, and an address book. Multiple e-mail accounts are supported in this version of the browser.
AOL Instant Messenger 3.0, Macromedia Flash Player 4.0 and Stuffit 5.5 are bundled with the release. It also boasts access to Netscape’s Radio service, which offers access to live streaming radio broadcasts over the Internet. Communicator 4.75 boasts strong, 128-bit encryption.
Further details are available from Netscape.
