Epson has increased its inkjet range with the addition of a new photo-printer, the Epson Stylus Photo 950.
The Epson Stylus 950 offers a two-picolitre dot size for detailed prints. Such a dot is almost invisible to the naked eye, according to Epson.
New features of the printer include an automatic paper cutter for trimming of roll media, and a paper catcher – a basket for collecting prints safely.
Another new feature is the 950's front-loading CD-ROM utility that enables printing directly onto CDs.
The 950's new print head creates fast photo printing at a resolution of 2,880-x-1,400dpi. The printer's five separate colour and twin black cartridges feature Epson's Intellidge Chip that stores print data.
The Epson Stylus Photo 950 also features borderless edge-to-edge printing and thick media printing of up to 1.3mm.
The Epson Stylus Photo 950 costs £323. Ink cartridges are £8.50 each (prices exclude VAT).
