Two New York teenagers are accused of killing a 15-year-old for an iPod.
Christopher Rose was attacked on Saturday evening in Brooklyn by a group of youths. According to police reports the attackers demanded the iPod, which he had borrowed from a friend, and stabbed him twice in the chest when he refused to hand it over.
Samuel Darran, 16, and Daryl Stephen, 17, have been arrested and are facing charges of murder, robbery and weapons possession, according to Associated Press.
In April New York police reported that a wave of iPod robberies on the city subways had seen 50 iPods stolen so far this year. London police have warned of similar occurrences here.
