UK Sunday newspaper The Observer has published its recent report looking at the diversity of iPod culture on its website.
From companies that specialise in digitising music collections for people who lack the time to do it themselves to a variety of iPod humour websites; Podcasting to iPod DJs, the report offers a brief reality check into the emerging impact of Apple's music player on popular culture today.
The report even offers a little advice on iPod etiquette from psychologist Simon Fanshawe.
"We have to be careful to remember that living in a city is about interacting with other people. We should remove our ear-pieces and interact properly with the traffic warden, the shop assistant or our friends," he advises.
