O'Reilly is accepting presentation and conference proposals for its second annual O'Reilly Mac OS X Conference in October.

Organizers are looking for presentations ranging those on cutting-edge projects to practical advice on OS X from developers helping mould the operating system's future.

It is also welcoming proposals on scripting, AppleScripting, Mac-system administration, Unix, networking, Apple's iLife applications, hacks and specific applications.

The company wants to hear from developers, system administrators, IT managers and power users with proposals aimed at chief information officers and design managers who are considering moving to the Mac. The pitch deadline is May 14.

Registration for the event opens in July. Instructions for submitting proposals are available online.
