Apple last night released updates for Mac OS X Security and for its iLife application, iDVD 3.
iDVD 3.0.1 offers "improved performance and stability for encoding, burning and managing your DVD projects", Apple says. QuickTime 6.3 is required for improvements to audio sync and audio integrity. The update is available through Software Update.
Security Update 2003-07-14 v.1.0 is for both client and server systems running Mac OS X 10.2.6.
It "addresses a potential vulnerability when a password is required upon waking from the Screen Effects feature, which could allow an unauthorized user access to the desktop of the logged in user," Apple says in notes with this release.
The 1.7MB Security Update is available using Software Update and also from Apple's support site.
