MapMemo has released a useful tool for attendees at Apple Expo Paris, which takes place between September 20-24.
The company's Paris MapMemo archive is a high-resolution city map that has been released as a free 2.9MB download.
The software also offers information about Paris, including recommended bars, cafes, restaurants and places of interest. These locations are listed, described and marked on the map, which users can edit and redistribute if they wish.
MapMemo founder Alexander Stengel said the company has been collecting this information "for months".
MapMemo can be used as a free reader with no limits. Users can also alter files - like the MapMemo Paris archive - save, archive and send them out without ever paying a licence fee. However, users who want to save a specific file more than five times must pay an 18€/18$ fee,
