The Peninsula Group has released Encrypt for FileMaker 5.5.
The utility converts any FileMaker field into 448-bit secure encrypted data with a single command. The data is also enhexed, so it's compact for email transmission.
This data can then be converted back into text with a single command. Incoming data requires just the correct security key. Data can also be converted into hexadecimal formats - allowing special characters to be converted into hexadecimal for emailing.
Encrypt for FileMaker supports digital signatures, and can make secure keys automatically.
Encrypt for FileMaker costs £10 for a single user, a developer licence costs £150 and a site licence £100. The solution also works with Mac OS X.
