Pixar will discuss its use of RenderMan at France's MIFA show next month.

Andy Jimenez from Pixar and Tom Jacomb from Vanguard Animation will discuss the use of Pixar's RenderMan on feature animation movies The Incredibles and Valiant.

This special event takes place just days after the European launch event for RenderMan for Maya at the
Apple Store on Regent Street on June 2.

Jimenez directed The Incredibles. He'll discuss some of the problems and challenges faced and how the team made optimum use of RenderMan.

Jacomb was line producer on Valiant - a movie itself emerging as the biggest grossing European made feature animation - he will discuss how RenderMan played a key role in bringing the film in on time and on budget.

The presentation is supported by Pixar's European distributor, Techimage.
