Wrapture ships in mid-November, with pricing in the UK expected to be slightly higher than in the US. However, Quark has said that Wrapture is cheaper than rival products, such as Artios CAD – which costs over £20,000.
Jurgen Kurz, Quark’s director of product management, said: "QuarkWrapture is designed to cut the costs involved in package production, and to speed-up every step of that process.
"You don't have to ship cut-and-paste mock-ups to different locations for approval anymore. With QuarkWrapture, you can create, distribute and view 3D proofs immediately".
Wrapture’s guides can run at any angle, rather than just horizontally and vertically, and creases as well as cuts can be marked-up. A tutorial is also downloadable, to guide users through the program's main features.
