Apple has some surprises in store for its QuickTime Live! event, which runs from February 11-14 in Beverly Hills.
QuickTime Live! is an annual event involving workshops and question-and-answer sessions for QuickTime users. This year's sessions include "a super-secret workshop" to be announced at the event, as well as an Apple keynote to kick-start the event.
Pre-announced exhibitors include Alias|Wavefront, BackBone Networks, Digital Voodoo, Discreet and RealViz.
The event was originally scheduled for October 2001, but was cancelled following the September 11 terrorist attacks.
In related news, Apple director of product marketing Mike Evangelist will deliver a keynote at the New York DV Show, which runs from February 10-14. Evangelist is expected to discuss Apple's video strategy.
