Analysts are beginning to believe that Apple may make a bid to buy Disney.
A report in investment magazine 'Barron's' on Saturday introduced such speculation. The basis of the notion is that Apple CEO Steve Jobs will own 7 per cent of Disney once the Pixar/Disney takeover deal goes through.
"I think he has an open option," Barron's quoted analyst Christopher Whalen, a New York-based managing director of Institutional Risk Analytics. "Disney is badly undervalued right now. Jobs might get an opportunity to take it out,' reports CBS Marketwatch.
The analyst said that Disney shareholders and others would welcome such a move.
