Apple may soon launch a bluetooth adaptor for iPods, according to a senior spokesman at car audio company, Pioneer.
Pioneer has announced its DEH bluetooth-enabled car stereo system. This system offers everything users have come to expect from their stereos, but adds bluetooth integration with mobile phones, so users can make or accept calls through the system, which can work with up to five phones at the same time.
The company revealed that an adaptor will be required to link iPods up with the system. Pioneer spokesman Michael Broadhurst claimed that Apple "will bring out a Bluetooth adaptor that will allow iPods to make a wireless connection, then play directly through the audio system."
