Apple has announced a series of 'School Nights at the Apple Store', in which teachers can showcase work done by their students.

"If you're a teacher and your students have created amazing work using Apple technology, you can now give these projects the audience they deserve. Invite parents, students, friends and teachers to the Apple Store for a presentation. Every Tuesday night between April 4 and May 30 is School Night at the Apple Store. Sign up your school now," Apple encourages educators.

Over 1,500 schools worldwide have showcased the creativity of their students during School Nights at the Apple Store, the company claims.

The individual ('School Representative') who first registers his or her school for participation in one of these events shall be given an iPod shuffle, the company says.

More information on the initiative is available on Apple's website.
