This is the year that many broadcast companies intend to look to broadband as a way of delivering television to homes across the country. But Mac users may be left out of the equation.
Sky has confirmed that it has no plans to offer its skybybroadband service to Mac users.
The company says that it will "consider customer feedback in our plans to enhance the product in the future," however.
On the other hand, the BBC has confirmed to Macworld its online TV broadcasts will support Mac, as they "must remain platform neutral".
