The PC manufacturer Sotec will begin selling a re-designed version of its eOne PC, in response to a court injunction banning it from selling and producing the iMac look-alike.

The injunction was slapped on the company after Apple filed a lawsuit claiming that it had copied the industrial design of the iMac . The eOne, which was developed in partnership with eMachines, TriGem and Korean Data System, has a translucent blue and white, all-in-one design.

The Tokyo court granted the injunction on Monday, halting sales and production of the eOne and prompting the share prices of related companies to plummet.

According to a director of Sotec, the company will next month produce a new machine with distinct features that will not be confused with the iMac.
